WATERCOLOUR PADS

Montval Watercolours
Montval® is a white paper for watercolours designed at Canson at the turn of the century by painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of sculptor Aristide Maillol. Since then, this paper has been endowed with new qualities. Its production in a neutral medium (acid-free) ensures its excellent storage properties. It resists mould thanks to the added fungicides. The paper’s whiteness is natural. Its excellent repentance (the paper’s ability to be brush-“washed” for correction) makes this paper very easy to use. Suitable for all wet techniques: watercolours, poster painting, wash drawing, acrylic. Identification: dry stamped Montval® watercolours.

Technics : pastel art crayon, oil grease crayon, colour inks, water felt, watercolour wash, gouache, acrylic, lithography.
